Braustin at the Hondo, Texas, Christmas Parade

Braustin Homes is always committed to giving back to the community, whether that be San Antonio, Odessa, or another part of our wonderful state. We recently made our way to Hondo, Texas, to participate in the “Christmas in God’s Country” Parade.

But we weren’t just there to make an appearance. We had a special gift for a lucky Braustin fan!

Braustin rolled through the parade in style in our blue Ford truck, complete with a custom Braustin Homes wrap and a white Christmas tree in the bed of our truck. Anyone who took a photo of our truck at the parade and tagged us on Facebook was automatically entered to win $500!

More on the “Christmas in God’s Country” Parade

“Christmas in God’s Country” is an annual family-friendly Christmas event held in Hondo, Texas. The event kicked off with a Hometown Holiday on Friday night, featuring Christmas carols, pictures with Santa, horse-drawn carriage rides, food trucks, and more. On Saturday, over 100 market day vendors set up booths around the downtown courthouse square, offering artisan crafts, homemade beauty supplies, snacks, fried food, and a variety of handmade items perfect for Christmas gifts. 

Then, on Saturday evening, we and countless others took part in Hondo’s beloved Lighted Night Parade, showcasing spectacular floats. This event draws the local community together and attracts hundreds of visitors from outside, making it a cherished tradition in Downtown Hondo.
